Team Leader for the Employment Unit Mini-Maxi

The Social Services Administration is looking for a team leader for the Employment Unit, Mini-Maxi. Mini-Maxi is part of the Employment Unit within Social Services and targets individuals aged 16 to 65 who, for various reasons, are outside the regular labor market.

Mini-Maxi's activities include transportation, a second-hand store, mail distribution, and a nature conservation group. The unit employs approximately 60 people in various work areas. We work closely with social services, the employment unit, Kraften, the Social Insurance Agency, Lärcentrum, the business community, schools, and probation services. Mini-Maxi is also responsible for implementing youth service, a penalty for young offenders aged 15-18.

The operation has grown, and we therefore need to strengthen the leadership team. Mini-Maxi's activities are currently divided among three team leaders, and we are now looking for a fourth colleague. Mini-Maxi has recently received an expanded mandate to assist the municipality's elderly care services with care-related tasks, which creates the opportunity to expand our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a team leader with us, you will lead the daily operations within the unit. You will coach and support participants towards self-sufficiency while being responsible for the daily operations and execution of Mini-Maxi's mission. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in people undergoing a change process and who sees potential in every individual and can guide them forward.

Together with employment consultants, you will ensure that participants have current action plans and participate in meetings with other authorities and partners as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have at least a high school education, and it is advantageous if you have training in social work or another area that the employer deems relevant for the position. You have experience working in IT-based systems and learn new ones quickly.

You are responsible for daily documentation and are involved in the development of informational materials and establishing routines.

You thrive in a changing environment, can prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You are attentive, collaborate well, and interact professionally with others even in stressful situations.

You take responsibility, learn new tasks quickly, and deliver high quality. You see the big picture and how your work affects colleagues, partners, and the organization in both the short and long term.

You express yourself very well in Swedish, both spoken and written. Your teamwork is characterized by collaboration, engagement, and a strong customer and service focus. You actively contribute to the development of the organization and seek solutions.

You are an integral part of the joint work within social services and preferably have experience in leadership, guidance, or coaching individuals who need support in their development and assistance in establishing themselves in the labor market.

A manual B driver's license is required.
