Sjulnässkolan is looking for a German teacher

Sjulnässkolan is now seeking a teacher of German in combination with another subject. With us, you will become an important part of the whole where teachers from grades 4 to 9 work together for the students' best.

Responsibilities

Teaching German for grades 6-9 as well as another subject based on your qualifications and the school's needs. Additionally, other common tasks for the teaching profession. Mentorship is included, but depending on how other positions are filled and planned, this may become relevant from the start or only from the school year 27-28. You are also expected to participate in the school's development work and various interdisciplinary activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher qualified to teach up to grade 9. Experience in similar roles is an advantage.

You should be able to work towards set goals, plan and conduct teaching of good quality, have good collaboration skills, and be a reliable person with good judgment. Personal suitability is highly valued.

More about the position

Scope: 100%. Only German constitutes about 50% of the position. Start date is August 2026 or by agreement. Seasonal employment with 35 hours of scheduled working time and 10 hours of discretionary time per week on a full-time basis.

Sjulnässkolan, which is a grades 4-9 school, is located about 20 km west of Piteå. The catchment area extends from the villages of Långträsk and Storsund about 50 km west to Böle, Lillpite, and Svensbyn near the school. This means one of the municipality's largest catchment areas. The school currently has over 340 students and about 40 employees.
