Job Responsibilities

We are looking for two teachers for grades 4-6 to teach Swedish, English, and social studies as well as mathematics, English, and natural sciences. As a teacher, your role includes planning and conducting lessons in the class for which you will be a mentor. Together with other educators in the team, you will be responsible for creating and developing a safe and secure environment that encourages and challenges students to engage, learn, and take responsibility. You want to be part of driving pedagogical development and you utilize current research and can apply it in your work. You will plan and follow up on teaching, analyze and assess results.

Qualifications

We want you to be:

• A certified teacher with a focus on grades 4-6 (but also non-certified individuals may be considered for a school law employment)
• Independent and a strong leader in the classroom

We want you to have:

• Good subject and assessment competence
• The ability to see the whole picture and collaborate with both after-school care and the school's student health
• The ability to take responsibility for the entire assignment and drive students' development forward, both academically and socially

More about the positions

Permanent employment, both positions are 100%
Start in autumn 2026
Seasonal employment with 35 hours of scheduled working time and 10 hours of trust time per week

Rosviks School is a small F-6 school with 210 students and 30 staff members located in the heart of the picturesque village of Rosvik, situated between Piteå and Luleå. At Rosviks School, we believe in each individual's desire to learn and inherent curiosity. Our goal is for every student to flourish and reach as far as possible based on their circumstances, both academically and socially. We achieve this through solid collaboration in teaching teams, with student health personnel, and with after-school care. We use Cooperative Learning as our approach and method.
