Hand in Hand Sweden is in an expansion phase and is now looking to strengthen its Program Team with a Resource Mobilisation Manager who will enhance and coordinate resource mobilization from major donors.

Your mission

As a Resource Mobilisation Manager, you will focus on the following areas:

  • Develop applications to institutional donors and large funds/foundations in close collaboration with relevant staff within Hand in Hand Sweden and their partner organizations.

  • Actively monitor the resource mobilization landscape and assess funding landscapes, trends, and competitor positioning.

  • Seek new and build relationships with potential institutional donors and large funds/foundations.

  • In close collaboration with Hand in Hand's partner organizations, program officers, and staff from Fundraising and Communication, develop program proposals for large private donors (corporations and philanthropists).

  • Support the communication and fundraising teams with knowledge and information from program operations related to resource mobilization from major donors.

The position of Resource Mobilisation Manager at Hand in Hand is new, and you will have the opportunity to shape the role together with your manager and colleagues.

Who are you?

Are you interested in joining a dynamic and diverse team in Stockholm and do you have the following qualifications:

  • Completed university studies preferably in international development, economics, Corporate Social Responsibility, or related fields.

  • Documented experience from working with institutional donors such as the EU, Sida, Norad, Danida, as well as large funds and foundations.

  • Good experience in developing and presenting projects/programs for potential donors.

  • Good experience in working through the entire cycle of designing concepts and applications, log frames, budgets, and work plans.

  • Strong ability to establish, build, and maintain effective long-term collaborations and working relationships.

  • Ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

 

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience working with program design and implementation from an international or national NGO, with experience in managing programs in an international context.

  • Experience using AI tools in the development of applications to streamline the application process.

  • Experience from one or more of Hand in Hand's focus areas: livelihoods, women's economic and social empowerment, private sector development, agriculture and rural development, and climate adaptation.

  • Experience working in or closely with operations in Hand in Hand's operational countries.

  • Experience developing or leading collaborations between the non-profit sector and the business community.

You are confident in your role, combined with a relationship-oriented approach and a natural sales drive. Building long-term relationships, developing networks, and creating trust are an obvious part of your work.

We also welcome applicants with a background from the private or public sector who have worked closely with civil society organizations.

 

More about the position

  • The position is full-time with a 6-month probationary period and then a permanent position.

  • Hand in Hand Sweden has a collective agreement through the Employers' Alliance.

  • The position is based at Hand in Hand's office at Odenplan in Stockholm with the possibility to work remotely a few days a week.

  • Travel in the role may occur.
