About the Workplace

Husläkarna i Österåker is a healthcare center with approximately 25,000 registered patients located in Åkersberga center, close to the Roslagsbanestation.

The clinic employs 65 staff members and offers a wide range of healthcare services, including asthma/COPD clinics, diabetes clinics, and a psychosocial team consisting of psychologists, psychotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, doctors, and nurses.

Job Responsibilities

You will work in the psychosocial team with two licensed psychologists and one licensed psychotherapist as your closest colleagues. The supervisor is a licensed psychologist and licensed psychotherapist. The work involves assessment and psychological treatment of adult patients aged 18 and older with mild to moderate mental health issues. Common issues include stress problems, anxiety disorders, and depression, which we treat with CBT in the form of internet treatment, guided self-help, group therapy, and individual psychotherapy. The focus is on treating issues at the primary care level at an early stage.

As a PTP psychologist with us, you will participate in the Region Stockholm PTP program and engage in local networks within Praktikertjänst. The work is conducted under weekly supervision by a licensed psychologist. As part of the psychosocial team, you will also participate in external supervision and team meetings where you will have the opportunity to discuss patient cases and operational issues.

Qualifications

We are looking for a PTP psychologist with CBT competence and an interest in the assessment and treatment work of primary care. The psychology degree must be approved for practice in Sweden. Previous work experience in primary care or specialist psychiatry is an advantage.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
