Mini-Maria in Jämtland County is an operation where the county's municipalities and the region offer support measures to young people up to 21 years old who have problems with alcohol, drugs, or gambling, as well as to relatives. The support may consist of conversations, counseling, and, if necessary, treatment, where the measures are tailored individually for each young person. A significant part of the work also involves consultation and collaboration with other actors who meet the target group.

Young people and their relatives contact Mini-Maria directly via phone or our app. Mini-Maria can also be granted as assistance through the social services of their municipality. Having support through Mini-Maria can also be an optional alternative for a young person who has been convicted of a crime and where a youth contract has been established.

The main reception is located in Östersund, and branch receptions are available in each surrounding municipality. In addition to physical meetings, digital solutions such as phone, video calls, and chat via the app are offered. The young people come to meetings at a reception in one of the county's municipalities, depending on where the young person lives or wishes to meet. The staff at Mini-Maria then works together with the young person based on the goals set by the young person.

The basic staffing at Mini-Maria consists of a coordinator, therapists, and nurses. In addition, there are psychologists and doctors associated with the operation, who can meet the target group based on age division and specialized competence from child and adolescent psychiatry as well as adult psychiatry. We are now looking for a nurse who can be part of the basic staffing based at the main reception in Östersund.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The job responsibilities include telephone counseling for both the young people, relatives, and professionals. You collaborate with other actors who meet the target group and participate in SIP and other collaboration meetings. Furthermore, you perform assessments, health conversations, parent support, testing, motivational work, and some outreach work. Motivational interviewing (MI) is used as a foundation in all conversations conducted at Mini-Maria. Documentation is done in the data journal system Cosmic. Together with your nursing colleague, you are the link to child and adolescent psychiatry as well as adult psychiatry and the region's network. As a nurse, you have the care responsibility with a focus on psychoeducational interventions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse.

Further education in psychiatry and experience working with young people and their families as well as experience in addiction care is meritorious.
