Pharmacist to the Pharmaceutical Unit

The Pharmaceutical Unit has the overall responsibility for the supply of medicines through distribution and in-house manufacturing, and provides pharmaceutical support to departments in the hospital. The unit serves as a strategic support to management and works on developing routines for medication management, training of healthcare staff and managers, analysis and follow-up, as well as compliance control. The operations are largely governed by regulations, with the Medical Products Agency as the inspecting authority. The unit is organized into four areas: pharmaceutical support, manufacturing, pharmaceutical service, and strategic pharmaceutical functions.
The Pharmaceutical Unit currently has 22 employees with diverse backgrounds and competencies. The climate in the unit is described as thriving, developing, and cohesive.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as a Pharmacist, you will be part of the medication team working with operational and strategic pharmaceutical issues related to the region's medication supply. Examples of job responsibilities include:
- Operational work within the pharmaceutical service
- Contributing to ensuring that the medication supply within specialized care is carried out in a patient-safe and cost-effective manner based on your expertise in close collaboration with specialized care.
Within the organization, there are good opportunities for varied and developing tasks.
Heavy lifting may occur.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a licensed pharmacist or licensed pharmacy technician
- Has at least 3 years of experience in the profession
- Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
- Has a valid driver's license (B)
It is an advantage if you:
- Have experience in medication supply and medication management within healthcare
- Have good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form
