Therefore, we offer flexible working hours, a generous vacation agreement, and good conditions for parental leave. There are also opportunities for professional development through international exchanges with other institutions and organizations. With our central location, you are close to the city's offerings and have good commuting options.

The university's support for education, research, and management functions is gathered in the unit for Operational Support, and we are now looking for a property developer for the Campus and Sustainability department. With us, you will have the chance to work closely with the operations, contribute to strategic campus development, and create environments that support the university's core mission. Welcome to become a part of our team!

Your Responsibilities

As a property developer, you are an important resource within the university's premises supply. You are part of a team within the department that focuses on local issues and you collaborate closely with colleagues in the area.

Your expertise will be a central part of the strategic development of the campus environment.

Your workday encompasses many points of contact, and you collaborate with a wide range of parties. Relationships are built with the municipality, property owners, and other external stakeholders, while you also work closely with internal stakeholders – management organization, colleagues, union representatives, safety organization, and student representatives.

The assignments vary in both scope and complexity. You act as a client for projects towards property owners and participate in planning, construction phases, and follow-ups, whether it involves renovations or new constructions. In your work, you prepare project descriptions, timelines, and project budgets. If necessary, you also provide support to operations in the needs phase and participate in the development of room function programs.

Your Qualifications

A post-secondary education deemed relevant by the employer is required for the position. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written forms. Furthermore, you have experience working with local issues from the client's side as well as experience in both property management issues and project work within local or construction projects.

Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities, and the position also requires that you are meticulous, structured, and able to meet deadlines. You are attentive, collaborate well with others, and have a good sense of service. At the same time, you have the ability to take your own initiatives, work independently, and prioritize among tasks.

Meritorious:

  • Experience and a good understanding of the requirements that educational and research activities place on premises.
  • Experience in lease agreement issues and associated negotiations.
  • Experience in safety issues related to physical security.
