Who are we?

Health and Medical Organization 1 is a community-based team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

The area of responsibility includes five special housing facilities with permanent places. These facilities are located at Nils Åbergsgatan 2, Kolonigatan 18:1 and 18:2, Sågvägen 10, and Ribbingholmsvägen 3 in Skärblacka, as well as Bryggaregatan 6.

We are now looking for a new nurse for our facility at Nils Åbergsgatan 2.

We are an experienced and supportive workgroup that is eager to share our knowledge and develop each other.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse at Nils Åbergsgatan 2, you will have primary responsibility for a number of residents and, as a secondary nurse, you will have a consulting responsibility for a larger number of residents, for example, when your colleagues are on leave or during weekends. The facility has a total of 66 places.

Your tasks include standard nursing duties such as catheter care, tracheostomy, feeding tubes, wound care, medication management, injections, and end-of-life care.

Your responsibilities also include preventive measures, making medical assessments, and providing nursing and care interventions. Common tasks include doctor contact, rounds, issuing delegations, palliative care, and more. You will participate in the unit's work on quality and patient safety development.

You will also work on guiding and delegating to nursing staff and have close collaboration with colleagues such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff.

Furthermore, you will follow up and document according to applicable legislation and our quality registers. You will be an important part of the collaboration with your colleagues, relatives, care managers, unit managers, and external contacts.

Who are you?

We are looking for a registered nurse. We prefer that you have experience in elderly care.

As a person, you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You possess personal maturity and a positive attitude.

You are clear and pedagogical in your communication, as the work is largely consultative. You have good collaboration skills but also enjoy working independently. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who can plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and possess a B driver's license.
