Home Healthcare

Home healthcare is offered to patients living in ordinary housing who have health care needs but cannot get to a health center or clinic.

We perform both one-time, temporary, and long-term health care interventions. The operations are based at Hantverkaregatan 51 in central Norrköping and from two locations in the outskirts; Åby and Skärblacka.

We are currently on a development journey due to more health care moving out from hospitals, and we need to strengthen our employee group.

Your Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant in home healthcare, you will work days, evenings, and weekends with both planned and unplanned home visits.

Your main work consists of performing health care interventions delegated by a district nurse/nurse.

The interventions are of a more advanced nature such as sampling, insulin administration, dressing changes, tube feeding, preparing and administering medications, subcutaneous injections, and more.

The first four weeks of work will consist of an introduction to the operations.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, according to the regulations of the National Board of Health and Welfare, and has experience working as a nursing assistant.

A requirement for this position is that you have experience working in a hospital ward, health center, or in home healthcare. Experience working in Norrköping Municipality is also desirable.

We would also like you to have experience performing more advanced health care interventions on delegation from a nurse.

You are independent and can plan and organize your work effectively. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and can make decisions in your work based on the available information.

As a person, you are calm and have an easy time collaborating with others. You focus on the patients and strive to work with high quality.

A requirement for the position is a B driver's license and that you can cycle. You master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
