Staffing Unit

The Staffing Unit is a support service that provides staffing in case of absence based on the requests received from the municipality's various operations. We are a central pathway into Laholm Municipality for applicants who wish to work as substitutes in the areas mentioned below. We offer specialized competence in staffing and in the recruitment process. We are a team that works together to provide good service in our interactions with substitutes and operations.

Description

We now welcome new colleagues to join us during the summer months for work within elderly care and LSS/Functional Support with the possibility of paid work already this spring.

Laholm Municipality has several operations in the municipality's outskirts, which is why we are now looking for you who can travel to our operations located outside central Laholm (e.g., Våxtorp, Veinge, Ränneslöv, etc.).

We are looking for individuals who can work day/evening or night as well as weekends. In the work at group homes and personal assistance, overnight shifts may also occur.

Job Responsibilities

In the work within elderly care and LSS, one needs to focus on the individual person and their ability to participate in their personal care and social content. This may involve assistance and support with hygiene tasks such as toilet visits and showers. Cleaning/laundry tasks are also performed, as well as activities such as conversations, walks, and training.

When you work within elderly care and LSS, you will work with basic care and support based on a respectful and communicative approach, with an emphasis on dignity and well-being for the person you are assisting.

You should be able to undertake delegated health care tasks such as medication administration.

Qualifications

You must be at least 18 years old. You can express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing. You must be able to understand instructions in both spoken and written form.

We prefer candidates who are educated or currently studying to become a nursing assistant, nurse, or caregiver, preferably with experience in care and support work.

You should have the ability to perform approved interventions with commitment based on a good and professional approach. We wish for you to be responsible as a person and have good social and communicative skills.

It is advantageous to have worked in care and support in previous jobs. Experience in reading and writing in journals, e.g., LifeCare or equivalent, is also a merit.

It is desirable that you can travel to locations outside central Laholm; access to a car and a driving license is preferred.

The assignment requires you to be proactive and responsive to individuals' wishes, reliable, and have a natural respect for personal integrity. You should be able to work both in a team and independently. Personal suitability is highly valued.

If you wish to work in home care and personal assistance, you should have a driving license; in some cases, you may get around by bicycle.

Conditions

Requirement: B-driving license for work in Home Care & Personal Assistance. Placement will be based on need.

Additional Information

We will primarily invite those who have education and experience in Care and Support work and can work during the summer of 2026.
