The Role of Care Assistant with Us

In the role of care assistant in the resource team, you need to have a great ability to adapt quickly and thrive in that environment. You will not have a fixed placement but will be assigned based on the needs of the organization; however, you will have a fixed unit from which you will operate and attend APT. You will also not have specific responsibilities or be a contact person. The units you will support include home care, nursing homes, and day care.

You will have an employment where the schedule mostly involves daytime work, but evening shifts will occur on some occasions during the scheduling period due to the new working time law. The position also includes weekend work every other weekend.

In your job, you provide good care and social support based on the needs of the care recipient. Your work includes social documentation, health care interventions, and daily social care based on planned interventions. We work qualitatively and purposefully with, for example, the BPSD registry and new technology that promotes a person-centered approach where care and support are provided safely and securely based on the individual's needs and wishes.

Your Profile

As a person, you are accommodating in your interactions and attentive to your surroundings. You create safety and exude calm through a methodical working approach, contributing to well-being. You are innovative and curious about new technology, as this is widely used in our work.

• is a trained or studying care assistant
• holds a B driver's license
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work

We offer a permanent full-time position with placement according to agreement.

The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Administration for Care & Support, all employees in home care and nursing homes are employed at 100% employment rate, but employees have the option to reduce to the desired employment rate based on the needs of the organization.

Before an offer of employment, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. As of July 1, 2023, care assistant is a protected job title.
