Welcome to us
We are looking for you who want to work as one of three team leaders in the elderly care commissioning area in the Järva district administration and who want to be part of our ongoing work to develop our operations and provide our citizens with the best possible service by maintaining a high quality.
With us, you have the opportunity for personal development as well as participation and influence in the workplace. You will also have wonderful colleagues, and we care about a good working environment.
The elderly care commissioning area is responsible for the authority's exercise for the target group elderly, which consists of people over 65 years old. We belong to the department of elderly care, disability, and social psychiatry.
We consist of a total of 47 employees, which includes a staff unit with leadership, support, and administrative functions, as well as two units consisting of 17-18 different assistance officer functions. We now see a need to expand with a third unit to create a more accessible and close leadership for the assistance officers and to address the working situation for unit managers and team leaders. In connection with the expansion/creation of the third unit, staff will be redistributed so that there will be about 12 assistance officers per unit.
We offer you

- Opportunities for professional development through training/lectures.

The position is characterized to a large extent by flexibility, as the needs may vary over time and are largely influenced by current demands. As a team leader, you also need to be well-informed about all aspects of the work performed within the units and the commissioning area, thus contributing to collaboration and development for the entire operation. Your work also includes administrative tasks that help you fulfill your mission to have a holistic perspective on the operation.
To succeed in your role, you will have close cooperation with other team leaders as well as unit managers and area managers, specifically with the unit manager who will work within the same unit as you. You will not have personnel or work environment responsibility; that is the responsibility of the unit manager.
