Nurse Wanted for Ward 25

We are currently looking for a nurse for Ward 25, which is part of the psychiatric clinic in Norrköping.

Here, inpatient care is provided with a focus on affective disorders and self-admission (SJ). The ward is located at Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping. Our patients are primarily residents of Norrköping, Söderköping, Finspång, and Valdemarsvik municipalities. We have a close collaboration with the clinic's other psychiatric outpatient clinics and wards.

Job Description

As a nurse with us, you will have an independent and responsible job with supportive colleagues around you, where you will have the lead role during your shift. Together with doctors, caregivers, and social workers on the ward, each contributes their perspective to offer our patients high-quality care. Our combined competencies and experiences provide a good overall picture of each patient while we also learn from each other. We assist patients both somatically, psychiatrically, and psychosocially, where our joint treatment efforts yield the best results for the patient.

The daily work involves patient meetings including assessments, sampling, medication management, and supportive/advisory conversations, where you as a nurse, together with the team, plan and follow up on the patient's treatment. Contact with relatives and the patient's wider network is a recurring aspect of the work for all employees in the unit.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, with or without experience. If you are specialized in psychiatry, this is an advantage but not a requirement.

To be considered for the position, you need good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as you will have a lot of contact with patients, relatives, and healthcare partners, as well as document in our digital journal system.
