About the Service Administration

The Service Administration is tasked with providing support functions to core operations, both strategically and operationally.

The administration is divided into three operational areas:

• Property – responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's properties and facilities, strategic local supply, project management for new and renovation projects, supervision, care, maintenance, and development of Ale municipality's external environment. The total managed area is approximately 135,000 square meters, with an additional 50,000 square meters of leased space.
• Food – prepares and serves meals in the municipality's core operations according to applicable laws and guidelines.
• Operational Services – responsible for cleaning, janitorial services, the municipality's vehicles, and IT.

The administration employs a total of 240 staff members, all operating under the service committee.

Job Responsibilities

As an operations technician with us, you are the hub of our technical management of large kitchens. You are responsible for ensuring that the machinery in our production and reception kitchens maintains the highest quality. The work is varied, mobile, and involves a lot of freedom under responsibility.

Who Are You?

We are looking for a natural problem solver with a strong technical interest. Since you will be moving around in our operations, you are communicative, pedagogical, and have a good demeanor.

Qualifications

• Education in electrical engineering, control technology, large kitchen technology, or equivalent experience deemed comparable.
• Experience in technical service, preferably within large kitchens or property management. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• A driving license (B) is required as the position involves travel within the municipality.

Meritorious: Electrical authorization (Limited authorization) or experience with refrigeration/ventilation.

Meaningfulness: You ensure that children and the elderly receive nutritious meals served in functioning environments.
