JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want a key role where your expertise makes a direct difference for quality and patient safety? As a Medical Responsible Nurse (MAS) in Landskrona City, you will have a central and strategically important role where you ensure that the municipality's health and medical care maintains high quality, meets legal requirements, and is conducted with good patient safety. The assignment involves working comprehensively, advisory, and coordinating within the health and medical care area, in close collaboration with both the municipality's own operations and external care providers. You will be an important representative for the healthcare principal and have the opportunity to drive development, follow up on quality, and work for safe and secure care for the municipality's residents.

The job responsibilities include, among others:

• Work comprehensively with health and medical care issues within Landskrona City according to applicable laws and regulations.
• Represent the healthcare principal by ensuring that the MAS assignment's statutory responsibilities are fulfilled.
• Collaborate closely with care providers and LOV companies within the municipality.
• Together with the socially responsible coordinator and contract controller, review and follow up on operations based on legal requirements, agreements, and arrangements.
• Analyze patient safety work and propose improvements.
• Develop and establish guidelines that form the basis for Landskrona Omsorgs AB's routines.
• Drive development work within health and medical care and adjacent areas within social services.
• Monitor the external environment and bring forward change needs to the management of the Care Administration.
• Participate in local, regional, and national networks, collaborations, and conferences.
• Be responsible for the quality work of health and medical care within elderly care, disability areas, and relevant parts of the Individual and Family Administration.

Requirements for the position:

• Licensed nurse
• Further education for specialization as a district nurse or further education in geriatric care or psychiatric care or equivalent education
• Driving license B
• Knowledge and experience of systematic quality work
• Good knowledge of follow-up and investigation work
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
• Good knowledge of applicable legislation in health and medical care

Meritorious:

• Experience of working in municipal operations and/or region
• Understanding of how politically governed organizations function
• Knowledge of the social services area
