Our Operations

The sterile supply department is responsible for sterile supply management at Uppsala University Hospital, Region Uppsala, and external customers. The operation is certified according to ISO 9001:2015, and the sterile supply management is conducted in accordance with legislation, authorities' requirements, regulations, and guidelines. The operation runs around the clock.

Your Mission

As a temporary employee in our sterile supply department, you will work with cleaning, disinfecting, inspecting, and packing surgical instruments used in healthcare. You will work with both manual and mechanical methods and follow strict routines and regulations to ensure the highest possible patient safety.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are currently studying and are interested in a temporary position. If you are studying to become a sterile technician, nurse, cleanroom operator, or equivalent and want to contribute to healthcare, we want to hear from you. We expect you to have good knowledge of hygiene and the ability to work systematically and accurately under high pressure. You should also be IT-savvy and have experience working with documentation systems. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Your Competence

We also see that you are a responsible and meticulous person. You have good collaboration skills and are service-oriented. We wish for you to be able to work both planned shifts and also fill in for suddenly arisen vacancies. You should also have the ability to work independently but also in a team.
