Aleris ASIH Syd Night is a well-functioning team with high competence that provides advanced home care. From June, a rare job opportunity is available! You can choose to work from our office in Värmdö or Årstaberg.

About ASIH ASIH's mission is to perform advanced care interventions that are otherwise provided in inpatient care to patients who are cared for in their own homes. Our goal is to create conditions for the best possible quality of life for our patients, where we take great consideration of the patient's own wishes and are available around the clock for the best possible symptom control and relief. This can involve shorter assignments, such as intravenous antibiotics for a few days, or other longer assignments as well as end-of-life care.

Through our multidisciplinary team, we aim to create the best possible conditions for safe, secure, and good care at home. We strive for high continuity, and everyone in the team works closely together to meet the patients' needs in the best possible way.

At night, we are five nurses who together cover our nine units within Stockholm South, and we operate from Tullinge, Handen, and Söderort/Värmdö.

The Role

As a nurse within ASIH, you have the opportunity to provide personal and qualitative care to the patients. For us, support for relatives is also important. No night is the same, and the variation in work and meeting different people is very rewarding. Most of the patients are oncology patients, but we also care for other types of medical conditions.

Job responsibilities: At night, we primarily have alarm readiness with acute interventions/symptom assessments but also planned visits for administering, for example, antibiotics or for end-of-life care. We work together with good communication among ourselves and always have access to our own on-call doctor.

About You

• are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in ASIH, home healthcare, oncology care, hematology, or palliative care.

• have experience and competence regarding central venous catheters

• work evidence-based and are professional in your approach, prioritizing the patient first

• are flexible and open to new challenges/opportunities

• have good collaboration skills

• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Knowledge of Take Care is an advantage

• A driving license (B) is required

Employment Conditions Employment type: Permanent employment, starting with a 6-month probationary period Scope: 89% or as agreed. Start date: As agreed Salary: Individual salary setting Collective agreement exists

Other: Full-time weekly working hours are 32.25 hours/week, weekend work two weekends out of five.
