JOB DESCRIPTION
The social services are facing a comprehensive digital transformation. The demands for accessibility, efficiency, and legal security are increasing both from legislators and residents. Therefore, we are now looking for a business developer with a focus on digitalization and welfare technology who wants to take a key role in the digital transition of social services. With us, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact from strategic choices to concrete implementation in a socially important operation where digital development makes a difference for both residents and employees.
As a business developer with a focus on digitalization, you will work both strategically and operationally to develop, drive, and follow up the digital transition within the Health and Social Care Administration as well as the Employment and Welfare Administration. You will lead and coordinate initiatives within digitalization and act as a bridge between operations, technology, and management.
You will translate the needs of the operations into user-friendly, legally secure, and legislated digital solutions and dare to challenge existing working methods to create better results.
As a business developer with a focus on digitalization, you will become a key person in this change. You will, among other things:
- drive development initiatives from needs and planning to implementation and follow-up in collaboration with employees in the administrations
- map and analyze the needs of the operations through workshops, interviews, and process analyses
- ensure that digital solutions strengthen operational goals, cost-effectiveness, legal security, and quality for the individual
- monitor the external environment
This is a role for you who want to contribute to a modern, data-driven, and sustainable social service and care, and who is passionate about translating the possibilities of technology into real benefits.
The position is organizationally placed within the Health and Social Care Administration, where you will be part of the management team. However, you will also be responsible for corresponding work within the Employment and Welfare Administration. You will collaborate closely with managers, employees, and system administrators. To ensure coherence and coordination in the digitalization work, you will also collaborate with the municipality's central development and digitalization unit, the information security coordinator, and the municipal IT company Unikom.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in IT, digitalization, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. You should also have a good understanding of the opportunities and challenges of digitalization in welfare operations and have a good ability to communicate with both technical and operational actors.
Experience in leading projects, facilitating workshops, training, or development groups within the public sector is meritorious. Likewise, if you have experience and knowledge of the social services' assignments and regulations as well as an overall understanding of confidentiality and information security.
Furthermore, we see that you are driven, structured, and solution-oriented, with the ability to take initiative and drive issues forward. You have an analytical mindset and a pedagogical ability that allows you to explain complex relationships clearly and engagingly.
You see digitalization as a means for operational benefit, improved working methods, and better results for the individual.
In the role, you will have many contacts internally and externally, and it is important that you are attentive. You must be able to handle varying needs and conditions and have good collaboration skills, viewing cooperation as an important part of the work.

A B driver's license is required for the position.

There is an opportunity to combine the work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment will be based on the needs of the operation.
