Responsibilities as an IT Technician

As an IT technician at Gislaved Gummi, you will be a central part of the company's IT operations and support. You will work broadly to support users, manage permissions, and administer both hardware and software. You will also be responsible for purchasing, installing, and inventorying IT equipment and ensuring that the IT environment runs smoothly.

Your tasks will include:

• 1st line support and troubleshooting of hardware and software
• Management of permissions and user accounts in Office 365 and Windows
• Administration of the phone exchange and phone subscriptions
• Purchasing and installation of computers, phones, and other IT equipment

As an IT technician, you will be part of a team. It is a free job with a lot of personal responsibility. You will also support the sister company Stellana with IT issues, which means traveling to Laxå 1-2 times a month.

In the role of IT Technician, we are looking for someone who has:

• Education in a relevant IT field
• Work experience in IT support
• Knowledge of Office 365 and basic network/server management
• Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driving license B
• The ability to present a satisfactory background check

It is a merit if you have:

• Experience in IT support in an industrial environment or a similar role
