As a nurse with us, you will be responsible for a care team with a maximum of three patients together with a nursing assistant.

With us, both neurosurgical and general intermediate care patients are treated. Intermediate care is an elevated level of care where our primary task is to monitor and support failing vital functions. As a nurse, you need to have good knowledge of breathing, circulation, and monitoring. We will help you acquire this knowledge through a long introduction that includes both clinical and theoretical training. We are looking for someone who wants a challenge and finds advanced care exciting. Our patients are continuously monitored with ECG, saturation, pulse, arterial blood pressure, intracranial pressure, and neurological checks. Patients may also be cared for with BiPaP and CPAP, but not invasive ventilators. The pace is varied, allowing for natural recovery periods that contribute to a good working environment.

Education is a highly prioritized part of our operations that we always ensure takes place. We regularly offer training every year to help you maintain and continue to increase your knowledge. The department is located at the top of the H-building and has six care places. The neurosurgery area consists of NIMA with six care places and our neurosurgeons. NIMA is an intermediate care unit that takes care of severely ill patients in need of continuous monitoring of vital parameters and consciousness checks but who do not require ventilator care. We also provide pre- and post-operative monitoring for our neurosurgical patients. The neurosurgery area is new, and neurosurgery in Örebro is constantly growing and developing. Our operations are characterized by continuous development and high competence! Employment Information:

Permanent employment with full-time work. The position is primarily a rotation position, but working hours will primarily be scheduled for nights, including weekend nights. We work with individual schedule planning.
