About the position

At Klosterbacken, we now offer the chance to become part of our operations. Here, there are opportunities for you who want to work closely with tenants and in a team-based manner.

With us, we work based on trust with great personal responsibility, and you work both independently and together with others to provide quality care and support. As a nurse at Klosterbacken, you will also be part of the municipality's HSL collaboration, which means that work will take place both during the day, in the evening, and on weekends at several special accommodations in Örebro. You will work with a structured care process, where you assess and make decisions based on person-centered and risk-preventive care, set goals, actions, and follow up. For us, it is important to start from a person-centered and rehabilitative approach, focusing on our tenants' wishes and needs.

Examples of tasks:

  • decide, implement and follow up on care measures
  • be responsible for guidance and training in care
  • instruct and delegate health and medical tasks to care staff
  • maintain contact and provide support to relatives
  • document in various quality registers and operational systems
  • participate in and drive continuous improvement and development of our operations

About the workplace

Klosterbacken is a centrally located special accommodation for the elderly in Örebro, just north of the city's heart, with proximity to train and bus connections. There are a total of 60 apartments distributed across four departments, of which two departments are somatic-oriented and two departments are oriented towards cognitive impairment. We also have a close collaboration with Olaus Petri health center located nearby.

As a nurse at Klosterbacken, you will be part of the Health and Medical Care Organization (HS). All nurses and occupational therapists within the municipality's special accommodations work under the same organization, allowing us to create better conditions, equitable care, and safeguard Örebro municipality's health and medical resources. For you as a nurse, this also means that you will have a manager who is fundamentally licensed and thus well-versed in the issues you face in your work.

Qualifications

As a nurse, you are confident in yourself and have good self-awareness. You enjoy having your own areas of responsibility and take responsibility for your tasks in an independent and structured manner. Being attentive and accommodating in your interactions, both with colleagues and patients, is a given for you. You are clear in your communication and have the ability to ensure that information gets through. Additionally, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities and solutions in what you face. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with patients and other staff, as well as document what the operations require. Since the work involves digital documentation in operational systems, good computer skills are required.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements:

  • licensed nurse
  • B driver's license (for manual transmission)

Meritorious:

  • experience working as a nurse
  • experience working in operational systems such as Lifecare, Pascal, and Senior Alert
  • experience working with individuals with cognitive impairment

Employment type: permanent position

Start date: by agreement

Working hours: day, evening, and weekend
