With us, an exciting and varied job awaits. The Primary Care Team constitutes the mobile part of the hospital operations at Karlskoga Hospital. The team conducts both planned and acute activities.

Karlskoga Hospital is one of the three acute hospitals in Örebro County. We who work at Karlskoga Hospital are proud of our hospital. Our work is characterized by professionalism, commitment, and team spirit. The hospital has both clinics and outpatient care that are part of the Area of Close Care, as well as clinics that are cross-functional, meaning operations that exist in all three hospitals in the county. The hospital operations in the northern area include the medical clinic, the emergency department, and specialist clinics.

The tasks in the Primary Care Team are varied and include, among other things, medical assessments over the phone and in-person with patients, planned and more acute treatments, medication management, nursing, and patient work. The Primary Care Team works in teams. Most assignments are carried out with a doctor and a nurse or solely by a nurse. The assignments are carried out in collaboration between the Primary Care Team, hospital operations, municipalities, and health centers in the western part of the county. We also have a well-functioning collaboration with the emergency department, ambulance service, and SOS Alarm.
