The National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS LVM-hem Rällsögården receives men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse, in combination with mental health issues.
We are now looking for a nurse to join our health and medical care team!
Job Description
As a nurse with us at SiS LVM-hem Rällsögården, you will collaborate with other professionals in an important societal mission to help the most vulnerable. Your expertise is both requested and essential here. You are part of our health and medical care organization and work across all our departments.
The health and medical care organization consists of nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, and doctors. With us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to good care and treatment at both individual and group levels through individual contacts and by educating and guiding treatment staff in health and medical care issues.
You will perform assessments of our clients' physical and mental health based on your professional role. You will be responsible for medication administration, participate in rounds with doctors, contribute to treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings, and collaborate with external actors. Other common tasks include incident management, documentation, coordination of care interventions, health conversations, and consultation and advice in health and medical care issues for our clients. You will work closely with other professionals in the institution, such as management and department staff, which requires good collaboration skills.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse
- You preferably have a few years of experience that makes you confident in your professional role. If you have prior experience working in an institution or are specialized in psychiatry, this is an advantage. We also appreciate if you are interested in leadership, organization, and development as SiS is a place for change. You have good collaboration skills, an understanding of different professional roles, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
- You have a good empathetic ability with a burning interest in a complex target group with many different needs. You are guided by the state’s value system and can reflect from an ethical perspective in complex situations. You have the ability to prioritize tasks and make good judgments, as well as demonstrate sound judgment in statements, actions, and decision-making.
- You are respectful in your interactions, can be clear and show care in your relationships with patients and colleagues, and have the ability to collaborate and be flexible in an organization that is a place for change.
- You enjoy working closely with patients while also guiding treatment staff and providing support in health and medical care work. You conduct delegation training and delegation.
- You can work in a politically governed organization with multiple legal frameworks.
- You can express yourself in speech and writing and have the ability to create good professional relationships, security, stability, and have a positive outlook on life. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
You should also have:
- A valid driver’s license (B)
