Job Information
Professionals Nord, in collaboration with SLS, is seeking an Installation Technician with a focus on electrical and control systems. You will work in production in Norrköping, installing SLS's customized refrigeration machines – from cable routing and connections to labeling and documentation. The role is PLC-close and includes both electrical and control installations in the machines, such as connecting motors, sensors, and other electrical equipment, as well as cable routing and connections according to schematics. Voltage application/authorized connections are handled by an authorized party. You will also be an important contact for hired electrical services when the machines are ready for electrical wiring. The work is project-based and varies in pace, which requires you to enjoy variation and be able to create order even when a lot is happening.

Job Responsibilities

• Cable routing in an industrial environment – primarily signal and data cables
• Connecting sensors, transmitters, and control systems to electrical cabinets/control systems
• Working closely with automation/PLC and frequency converters – understanding functions and being able to manage basic parameters
• Labeling and documentation: you will receive schematics with connection points and ensure that it is executed correctly
• Quality and documentation: in case of errors/deviations, you will provide documentation to ensure proper corrective actions
• Documentation responsibility related to valves/certificates to enable C-marking 
• Collaboration with assembly leaders/projects and primary contact for hired electrical resources
• Some basic assembly work may occur 

We are looking for someone who has 

Experience in electrical/control installation in an industrial environment and can come from various backgrounds, such as installation technician, automation technician, alarm/security technician, service technician with installation experience, or industrial electrician who prefers control/signal over power. You are familiar with cable routing, sensors/transmitters, and cabinets, can read and work according to electrical/data schematics, and have an understanding of control systems in a PLC-close environment. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
