Your Role

Are you a person who loves to tinker and is a problem solver to the fingertips? Then you might be our next technician! We are looking for someone who enjoys working with maintenance and repairs and is ready for the next challenge. In this role, you will work at the component level with various components for the Gripen aircraft. Your tasks will mainly consist of troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, and final testing.

Documentation will also be part of the job and will be based on our high safety and quality standards. This is a job with great variation where new challenges may arise daily!

Your curiosity and technical interest motivate you to constantly discover and develop new skills. With your meticulousness in your work, you always strive for the highest quality and precision. You take great responsibility for your tasks and ensure they are carried out in an efficient and thoughtful manner. Additionally, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with others to solve problems and achieve common goals.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a high school education as a foundation and experience in practical work, either from previous work experience or from leisure activities. If you have an aviation technical education or have worked with component maintenance before, we see it as an extra merit, but it is not a requirement.
• Has good computer skills.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The working hours are during the day, and the location is Malmslätt, Linköping.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
