Maintenance Mechanic at Fiskeby

Your Responsibilities

As a maintenance mechanic, you will primarily work with pumps, rollers, and bearing assemblies. You will manage work orders in our maintenance system and be part of an engaged team where you collectively take responsibility for solving both planned and urgent challenges in production.

You will become part of our maintenance department, whose mission is to ensure high availability and operational reliability in production. We actively work with planned and preventive maintenance and constantly strive to develop our working methods for increased quality and efficiency. The position is daytime-based, and on-call duty may occur.

You are solution-oriented, responsible, and enjoy collaborating. You understand the value of clear communication and always prioritize safety and work environment. You take ownership of your tasks and ensure they are completed.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Technical high school education or equivalent experience (with a focus on service and maintenance)
• Several years of experience as an industrial mechanic (meritorious)
• Experience in assembling, adjusting, setting up, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment

About Fiskeby

In 2023, we were acquired by RDM Group, and together with seven other mills, we are the largest producer of recycled cardboard in Europe. We have been manufacturing paper and cardboard since 1637, and Fiskeby is the only mill in Scandinavia that can accept beverage packaging as raw material. Our products are made from 100% recycled fiber, fully in line with today's demands for a sustainable society. We produce 160,000 tons of cardboard each year and have approximately 275 employees.
