Arla Plast is a leading company in the plastics industry, with a strong position in the European market. We manufacture high-quality plastic sheets for a variety of applications such as personal protection, machine sewing, ice hockey rinks, vehicle parts, noise barriers, and greenhouses.

The group has production and headquarters in Borensberg, production units in the Czech Republic, Spain, Finland, and a distribution center in Germany. Arla Plast was founded in 1969 and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. In Borensberg, the headquarters is located with approximately 120 employees, of which 80 are in production.

About the position

As an automation electrician at Arla Plast, you play a central role in keeping the company's extensive and advanced machinery in operation, especially the long extrusion lines that stretch 10–12 meters. The position is varied and combines electrical work with mechanical tasks. You will work both with preventive maintenance and more urgent interventions when something unexpected occurs.

Your role includes performing service, troubleshooting, and repairing larger machines, as well as acting quickly and effectively in case of operational disturbances. You collaborate closely with the production and technical departments to ensure stable and available processes in the facility.

The workday usually begins with a morning meeting where the team reviews any deviations from the night shift and sets up the day's work plan. Tasks are performed both independently and together with colleagues, and the role suits you if you thrive in a dynamic and active production environment.

The position also includes on-call duty, and the compensation follows Arla Plast's collective agreement with IF Metall.

We are looking for someone who

We are looking for a practical and solution-oriented automation electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, mechanics, and working closely with production. Furthermore, we would like you to have:

• Three years of experience in industrial electrical work
• Practical experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance
• An interest in hands-on work and mechanics
• Experience in automation or automation electronics
