The Individual and Family Administration is responsible for services according to SoL and LSS, which include individual and family care and care for persons with disabilities. Municipal citizens in need of social services can receive advice, support, and assistance. In most cases, our assistance and services are provided after an individual assessment as part of our authority's exercise. We aim for the services we provide to lead to independence.

The operations focus on services for children, youth, and their parents, substance abuse issues, domestic violence, persons with disabilities needing support in their daily lives, individuals in need of financial assistance, labor market measures, rehabilitation, and integration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves performing work both as a family therapist and social worker in the form of child caseworker with authority. In certain periods, you may work entirely on one assignment while during other periods you work partially on both assignments based on the needs of the operations.

The main tasks as a family therapist in the foster home team are to actively work with the three-part parenthood during the child's placement period. Support and guidance to foster homes, support and treatment for the child's parents and network. Participate in training for foster homes. You plan and participate in visits between placed children, their parents, and their families.

The main tasks as a social worker/child caseworker are to plan, implement, and follow up on the care of placed children according to the Social Services Act and LVU, the Care of Young Persons Act. We use BBIC (children's needs in focus) and have procapita as our operational system. We are now implementing Life Care as our operational system.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a social worker or otherwise meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's eligibility requirements. You have several years of experience in social services work within the area of children and youth. You therefore have good and in-depth knowledge of BBIC and legislation, preferably SoL, LVU, OSL, and FB. It is an advantage if you have experience in investigations involving children and youth. It is also advantageous to have worked with treatment work within foster care and parenting support interventions.

Driver's license B is required.
