The Mark Workshops (MvE) are a unit belonging to the Army Staff, which performs maintenance on the Armed Forces' ground equipment, air base equipment, and provides technical system support. This includes maintenance in the form of inspections, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scrapping, modifications, operational support, technical adjustments, and material investigations. The Mark Workshop unit delivers services according to customer requirements.

You will belong to Markverkstad Syd, which operates in Revingehed, Ronneby, Karlskrona, and Tofta, together we are about 180 employees.

Main Responsibilities

As a combat vehicle mechanic, you will primarily work with maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of combat vehicles, both tracked and wheeled, and their systems. The work involves both preventive and corrective maintenance as well as modification and reconstruction based on established guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least completed and finished two- or three-year high school with a focus on technology or equivalent, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience assessed by the employer as equivalent
• Computer proficiency with knowledge of the MS Office package, mainly Word and Excel
• Good knowledge of technology and troubleshooting.
• Driver's license B

Meritorious

• Refrigeration certificate
• Previous experience as a combat vehicle mechanic or mechanic in a similar field
• The Armed Forces' mechanic training on any vehicle system is desirable, or system technician training.
• Previous experience and knowledge of workshop operations and material maintenance in the Armed Forces
• Familiarity with the Armed Forces and its systems

The work also requires travel and service, both domestically and internationally.
The position is a civilian position.

Work with thermosetting plastics may occur at the workshop.
