Primary care, psychiatry, and rehab consist of 21 publicly run health centers, 1177 healthcare guide, specialist psychiatry, rehab and habilitation services, as well as family health and 'A Path In' for children and adolescents with mental health issues. Our mission is to create good conditions for our patients, ensuring that the people of Kronoberg receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence at the right time and at the right level of care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role is to work with the entire team to strengthen the patient's independence, focus on the healthy aspects, and strive for the absolute best results with each admission. In this work, you will have a leadership role. The department is organized into care teams. Staff in round-the-clock care and outpatient care collaborate closely to maintain continuity for the patient during and after their treatment. Nurses and caregivers in the care team plan and organize care together with the patient, maintain contact with relatives, and any other healthcare providers. In addition, you will work with standard tasks such as medication management, documentation, sampling, etc.

We work multidisciplinary. You will collaborate with nurses, caregivers, senior physicians, occupational therapists, social workers, etc. We work in teams within the department but also between departments as needed.

The position will also include being part of the staffing on our treatment department where ECT treatment is performed.

The position involves rotation shifts, but currently, night shifts are not applicable, as well as every fourth weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with further training in psychiatry. We seek someone who is confident in their nursing role, has experience from various parts of healthcare, and works with high trust, both in themselves and others. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Prior to employment, the employer will request a background check from the criminal record and suspicion register, which must be approved.
