At the medical clinic in Ljungby, there is a medical reception with clinical physiology, bone density measurement (for the entire Kronoberg County), and a dialysis department. The inpatient care consists of a department divided into two sides, one focused on stroke/neurology and internal medicine, while the other is focused on cardiology and internal medicine. In 2026, we are also in the startup phase of an emergency care department with integrated IMA. The emergency department is open around the clock. Ljungby has a catchment area of approximately 52,000 inhabitants. Here, qualified emergency care is provided at all hours of the day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who are a double specialist in internal medicine and cardiology, hematology, gastroenterology, nephrology, or pulmonology and who want to be part of an engaged and competent team in Ljungby. Senior physician competence is meritorious. You will be offered a varied job with a primary focus on your subspecialty. The hospital has a well-developed dialysis department and hematological day care, endoscopy unit, lung reception, as well as clinical physiology and pacemaker reception. As a cardiologist, echocardiography competence is a requirement. The position also includes on-call duty as a backup or acute senior physician during daytime, evening, and weekends, as well as service in AVA and as a cardiologist in HIA.

QUALIFICATIONS
