JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Kommunrehab is looking for summer substitutes - both occupational therapists and physiotherapists. Even if you are a student in one of these professions, you are welcome to apply.

The transition to Good and Close Care means a focus on person-centered care where the individual’s needs are at the center, as well as close collaboration with primary care and inpatient care.

You will work in a team with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and assistive technology technicians. The job also involves close collaboration with nurses, care staff, case managers, and unit managers.

You are part of the Health and Medical Care Department and perform rehabilitation efforts, training, health-promoting, and preventive measures for our citizens throughout the municipality. In your role as an occupational therapist/physiotherapist, you are responsible for assessments and planning interventions based on individual needs. You are also responsible for the testing and prescription of assistive devices. As a student, you will perform tasks delegated by licensed staff.

You will have a varied and stimulating job by working with the rehabilitation process together with other professionals to promote independent living for individuals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed occupational therapist or licensed physiotherapist. However, for the summer, we are also looking for students in these professions. Experience in municipal operations is an advantage.

We would like you to feel secure in your professional role and have good collaboration skills. A driver's license is a requirement.

OTHER

If you are selected for employment, the employer will request an extract from the criminal record. The municipal council has decided that all new hires must present a criminal record extract before employment. The extract that must be shown is the one for work in schools or preschools.
