Your role

As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our cloud-based systems are secure, resilient and continuously compliant with internal requirements and international security regulations. You will work closely with architects, developers and IT operations to design, implement and improve cloud security solutions with a strong focus on automation and compliance by design.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing secure cloud architectures with built-in compliance controls.
• Driving continuous compliance through automation, monitoring and policy-as-code.
• Identifying risks and defining security measures in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Ensuring compliance with security frameworks and standards, including NATO information security requirements.
• Developing and maintaining cloud security policies, standards and governance models.
• Implementing and operating automated compliance and security controls integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Performing risk assessments, vulnerability management and incident handling related to cloud services.
• Supporting security controls such as IAM, encryption, logging, monitoring and configuration management.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you have a strong security mindset and a passion for building secure and compliant systems at scale. You are comfortable working in regulated environments and believe that automation is key to maintaining security and compliance over time. As a person, you are curious and driven, with a strong sense of self-leadership.

We believe you have the following:

• A relevant academic degree or equivalent experience in IT security, cloud engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience working with cloud security in AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Hands-on experience with continuous compliance, security automation and policy-as-code.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS and NATO information security standards.
• Experience with tools and practices for automated compliance, configuration management and security monitoring.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security controls into CI/CD workflows.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
