Fika & Wine is a Swedish restaurant concept where traditional Swedish cuisine, coffee culture, Swedish beverage traditions, and historical surroundings meet in a warm and modern whole. The restaurant is located in the historic 16th-century vaults of Gamla Stan, with an interior inspired by Swedish design tradition and craftsmanship. The environment is warm and timeless, featuring an inviting bar and a rustic wine vault for gatherings and events.

Food, Drink & Experience

We serve classic Swedish home-cooked dishes with a seasonal focus and Swedish ingredients – meatballs, raggmunk, Wallenbergare, herring, soups, and desserts.

The beverage selection has a clear Swedish foundation, focusing on Åhus Vingård, complemented by European wines, Swedish beer, cider, and a thoughtfully curated non-alcoholic range.

The service experience is warm, personal, and professional. Lunches are calm and stable, while evenings are livelier and more atmospheric. Our guests include both locals and international visitors seeking an authentic Swedish experience.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who wants to work in front of house in a broad and varied role. You will work with serving, café, and, if needed, also as a head waiter.

Your responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and taking care of guests with warmth and professionalism
• Serving food and drinks and working at the cash register
• Preparing and presenting coffee, pastries, and beverages
• Guiding guests through the menu and Swedish beverage offerings
• Supporting the service flow during lunch, evenings, and events
• Taking responsibility as a head waiter when needed (reservations, table planning, guest interaction)
• Ordering supplies as needed.
• Etc.

Who Are You?

You are social, confident, and structured, and enjoy creating a good atmosphere for both guests and colleagues.

You have at least 6 years of documented experience in restaurants, cafés, hotels, or other service-oriented businesses and are accustomed to working independently with a high level of service.
