The Adult Psychiatric Care in Falun - Säter has a county-wide mission responsible for psychiatric emergency care, inpatient care, and addiction treatment. In Falun, we have our addiction emergency unit, inpatient care for both addiction conditions and general psychiatry, and our LARO clinic. At the LARO clinic, a cross-professional and cohesive team consisting of doctors, nurses, caregivers, medical secretaries, and social workers work together. We have short times from investigation to treatment, and the clinic's staff has good knowledge of the patients belonging to the unit. The work is carried out in collaboration and close cooperation with social services, outpatient psychiatry, our mobile team (PEA), as well as primary care and other healthcare partners. The LARO clinic is directly adjacent to our addiction emergency unit and two of our inpatient wards. The geographical proximity between the clinic and inpatient care leads to seamless integration and great flexibility in care.

Senior Physician with Medical Management Responsibility, LARO Clinic, Falun

As a physician at our LARO clinic, you will be part of a larger medical team. Within the organization, our ambition is to provide good opportunities for development and education with short decision-making paths. The LARO clinic serves as a central unit for the training of our ST doctors. We have a highly competent group of ST doctors who are significantly involved in the work at the clinic and are engaged in specialized areas within psychiatry during their service period. Our vision is to build a strong addiction organization based on the proposals in the comorbidity investigation and to try to train more doctors in the addiction field in the coming years. You will play a central role in this. As the medical manager for our addiction care, you will also be part of a medical management group consisting of chief physicians and MLA from inpatient care in Falun and Säter. You may be offered opportunities for observation days within suitable organizations, and regular internal training and forums for collegial knowledge exchange are organized in psychiatry. The work consists of outpatient work Monday to Friday with assessments, investigations, and treatment of patients' addiction-related issues. The assignment as a specialist physician entails medical responsibility for the clinic with the implementation and development of evidence-based methods. The work also includes on-call duties in the evenings, nights, and weekends. There is a great opportunity to take out compensatory time regularly.

Qualifications:

• Licensed physician with specialist competence in general psychiatry. Experience working with LARO.
• Specialist competence in addiction medicine is an advantage.

Personal Qualities:

The position requires the ability to take initiative as well as to work independently. Good judgment and collaboration skills are also essential. You should have an interest in developing common care and treatment strategies for the patient group. Personal suitability is of great importance.
