The psychiatric reception team in Rättvik is staffed up to the level of registered nurses, similar reception teams are found in both Mora and Malung. From Mora, our joint medical team, mobile team (PEA team), administrative team, and investigation and treatment team operate. We collaborate closely between the teams and can also be flexible regarding which reception you sit at during your working hours. We also work towards a common outpatient care throughout Region Dalarna, which involves collaboration with outpatient reception centers in other locations and is under development. Inpatient care is available in Falun and Säter.

Our working hours are daytime Monday to Friday with weekends and holidays off, allowing you to plan your time and spend time with loved ones during the holidays.

Nurse for outpatient psychiatry - NPF team in Rättvik Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a nurse who wants to join our team. More specifically, to the NPF team (focus on ADHD/ADD/Autism) but also in teamwork with the rest of the reception.

As a nurse in our reception team, you will meet patients during many different types of visits. Your responsibilities include conducting psychiatric assessments and follow-ups, managing medication - including distribution, administration, and follow-up, as well as sample collection. We also provide telephone counseling and patient education both in groups and individually. We collaborate with relatives, care neighbors, and inpatient care. We offer visits both at the reception, digitally, and sometimes through home visits. We work closely as a team within our own reception, but also with other receptions in Region Dalarna.

Patient work is divided into different functional areas such as neuropsychiatry, psychosis care, addiction care, and care for affective disorders, but common cases also occur. At this time, we are primarily seeking staff for our neuropsychiatric functional area, meaning that the person we recruit will primarily work with patients with ADHD, ADD, and Autism. Other patient groups will also be present.

Onboarding takes place on-site and is tailored to individual needs.

Requirements:

• Registered nurse
• Driver's license B

Meritorious:

• Further education with a focus on psychiatry
• Experience in psychiatry

This position requires that you have a valid license for the relevant profession. Your professional license will be checked against the National Board of Health and Welfare's register of licensed healthcare professionals (HOSP) before any job offer.
