Welcome to Säter, a charming and picturesque part of Dalarna, a place characterized by tranquility and care. The Adult Psychiatric Clinic in Falun and Säter is a clinic divided into two locations, with two care departments at each location, specialized units for LARO and ECT, as well as a dependency emergency unit in Falun.

In Säter, you will find Dalarna's only psychiatric emergency reception, a safe and warm workplace where both patients and staff are at the center. We work together to create a caring, supportive, and professional environment where everyone can feel seen and valued. Safety and security are central parts of our working method, and all staff undergo regular training in Terma and CPR. In 2025, we implemented Meaningful Full-Day Care, Safewards, a working method that we continue to develop and is used in most units. In addition, we offer ongoing professional development and other relevant training for our staff. We are a clinic that is constantly moving forward and striving to work with modern methods and evidence-based practices to provide both patients and staff with the best possible conditions.

Nurse for the psychiatric emergency unit in Säter Job Responsibilities

As a nurse in the psychiatric emergency reception, you will, among other things:

• Assess patients' psychiatric conditions, both via phone (Tele-Q) and during physical visits.
• Provide advice, support, and information regarding treatment options and strategies.
• Work closely with doctors and other healthcare staff.
• Be involved in assessing the work efforts of ST doctors and support AT doctors and other physicians in their daily work.
• Collaborate with healthcare neighbors such as Prehospital Emergency Care (PEA), ambulance, police, and other agencies.

The work varies between quieter periods and times of high tempo, making the role both diverse and developing. Working hours are scheduled for days and evenings, without night shifts, and most work every other weekend. With us, there are good opportunities to influence your schedule, and we strive to take individual preferences into account when scheduling.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed nurse.

We offer a long and individually tailored introduction, where you will receive support from an experienced nurse in psychiatric emergency care. Even if you lack previous experience in psychiatry, you will receive a safe start and good conditions to grow into the role. As an employee with us, you will also receive a wellness allowance.
