Nurse for the Health and Care Administration

The Health and Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly and disability care, home healthcare, and food services. The administration has over 1,000 employees, with the largest group consisting of care personnel such as nursing assistants, personal assistants, nurses, and chefs. However, there are also many other professions within our operations. We are all key personnel, and our activities are characterized by engaged, responsible, and competent employees.

The Workplace

The nursing organization in Ludvika municipality includes work against both ordinary and special housing, divided into three areas. In one of our areas, we also work with LSS and psychiatry. The work involves a full-time measure of 38.25 hours, including days, evenings, and weekends according to a schedule. There is an opportunity to apply for pension benefits of 80-90-100 for those who have reached the age of 63 and have been employed by Ludvika Municipality for a continuous period of 5 years, directly connected to the reduction of working hours.

Our operations are in constant development, and we are working on projects to implement Good and Close Care. Job Responsibilities

Working in the nursing organization with us is an inspiring and independent job. There are opportunities for development, and you have great freedom to plan your workday. You will work in a team with other professional categories. You will perform standard nursing tasks within municipal elderly care and be a supervisor for care personnel in medical care. You should be able to guide and support care personnel within the administration. The position includes areas of responsibility and mentoring of new colleagues and students. PAS responsibility may be included. You will participate in workplace meetings and actively contribute to the development of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Swedish registered nurse is a requirement. Further education in open healthcare or elderly care is an advantage.
  • You should have good collaboration skills in your professional role, be responsive, flexible, and proactive, and have a holistic view of the organization.
  • You should have knowledge and the ability to mentor staff in their daily work.
  • You should be able to work independently and purposefully.
  • You should be able to inspire employees and enjoy working in a team.
  • The employer places great emphasis on personal suitability.
  • You should have the competence to work with IT support and have good computer skills.
  • A valid driver's license (B) is required.
