We are now looking for a nurse for our Palliative Care Unit. We provide specialized palliative care and are located at Falu Hospital. We have 8 care places and receive patients from all over Dalarna. The care is aimed at patients with severe symptoms who are in the final stages of life. Our ambition is to make the time of illness as good as possible for the patient and their loved ones.

Nurse for the Palliative Care Unit, Falun Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you have both medical and nursing responsibilities for the patients, which requires personal maturity in communication with the patient and their loved ones. Close collaboration with various professionals to meet all of the patient's needs is a hallmark of our work. The position involves rotating shifts with a fixed schedule.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse

You are a licensed nurse with an interest in palliative care. It is important that you are empathetic and have a good approach to patients, relatives, and colleagues. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your understanding of different social and cultural contexts. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
