The Social Services Administration operates on the principle that all people we meet have the same value and are unique. Within the administration, there are IFO, LSS operations, social psychiatry, health care, home care, and special accommodations. About 800 employees work around the clock for our target groups.
Avesta Municipality is looking for a systems administrator and care developer in health care who wants to contribute to the development and quality of care through digital solutions and structured improvement work. The position is a two-year project employment, with a permanent position in your base profession.
Job Description
The position is a combined role where you work both as a systems administrator and care developer within the municipality's health care. In the role of systems administrator, you are responsible for the management, development, and coordination of the IT systems used in the operations. The work includes, among other things, managing permissions, SITHS cards, and the HSA catalog, as well as ensuring that the systems are used in an appropriate and secure manner. You are also responsible for training and onboarding new staff in the relevant systems. The system environment is constantly evolving and will change and expand over time.
As a care developer, you work closely with the municipality's nurses and other relevant functions to plan and implement training efforts and develop methods and working methods. An important part of the assignment is to drive the development of dementia care in the municipality, including work with the BPSD register where both training and registration need to be strengthened. You are also responsible for Tena Identify and actively participate in several upcoming projects aimed at improving the quality of care in Avesta Municipality in both the short and long term.
Requirements
We are looking for a licensed nurse with advanced IT skills. You have the ability to work independently and in a structured manner and take responsibility for planning, driving, and following up on your work. You are proactive, see opportunities in change, and easily adapt to new conditions.
As a person, you are secure and stable with good self-awareness. You have the ability to distinguish between the professional and personal and adapt your approach according to the situation and context. You have a professional attitude and enjoy collaborating with other professional groups.
Experience in systems administration within health care, previous work with care development, leadership, or educational work is meritorious. It is also an advantage if you have experience with IT systems used in municipal health care.
