1177 on the phone is national and exists in all regions of Sweden. We collaborate with four other regions during the night in a collaboration forum called Diagonalen, which includes Uppsala, Sörmland, Västmanland, and Gotland. In Dalarna, we have our own call queue between 07:00-21:30, after which we enter a collaborative queue. 1177 Vårdguiden by phone in Dalarna is organized under the primary care division.

Being a telephone nurse at 1177 Vårdguiden by phone is a rewarding and challenging job that spans a broad field of knowledge. As a telephone nurse at 1177 Vårdguiden by phone, you assess the care needs of the caller through qualified advisory support and a specially developed conversation methodology. Based on your assessment, you provide advice, support, and education, refer to the appropriate level of care, assist with health and medical information, and coordinate health and medical resources. After a period when you feel secure in your work, you will have the opportunity to work remotely from home.

We offer those who want to try our operations a permanent position with constant night shifts. You will receive a thorough introduction to our working methods during the first weeks, regardless of previous experience. To ensure the quality of our work, we have regularly scheduled training for all employees, and you will also receive guidance in the conversation process from our conversation supervisors and educators.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• Work experience in health and medical care
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Computer skills are required as it is our primary working tool

Meritorious:

• Multilingual skills

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in professional healthcare advice for our residents who now wants to try the role of telephone nurse. As a person, we want you to be meticulous, communicative, and service-oriented in your working style with good collaboration skills, as well as having an interest in development issues.

This position requires you to have a valid license for the relevant profession. Your professional license will be checked against the National Board of Health and Welfare's register of licensed health and medical care personnel (HOSP) before any job offer.
