We are now looking for a florist with a passion for plants and, not least, cut flowers.

At Bürgers, we have spent many years gathering plants for future Swedish gardens. Great emphasis has been placed on good material, both in terms of quality and origin. Today, we have suppliers all over Europe who, with their extensive knowledge and good collaboration, help us with our large assortment of both indoor and outdoor plants.

With the help of our skilled staff, we have also worked on a large indoor department in recent years where you can find a multitude of flowering and green plants along with furniture and decorative items. In addition, our cut flower department is happy to assist with beautiful bouquets, stunning arrangements, and flowers for weddings and funerals.

We are now looking for a florist with a passion for plants and, not least, cut flowers.

We are looking for someone who is a trained florist, with experience in retail. Of course, you should love meeting customers. To succeed with us, we believe you are a person with a strong commitment to both the customer and the garden.

Job Description:

The work is varied and includes all aspects of retail operations. You will work with all the tasks typically associated with the profession, such as arrangements for funerals, weddings, etc. In addition to standard florist tasks, you will also work with the care, watering, and handling of potted plants. Stocking and pricing of goods, serving customers, and cash handling.

Qualifications:

A requirement for this position is that you have florist training. It is an advantage if you have worked a couple of years as a florist, but if you have just completed your training, that is not a barrier to working with us. Most importantly, you must always have the customer in focus and be flexible. We are looking for a cheerful, social, and outgoing person who is willing to put in the effort when the work requires it. You should have a strong sense of service and be able to collaborate easily, but also be able to work independently and take your own initiatives.

You need to have a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and customers.

Employment Type:

75%-100% permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period.

Working hours vary, Monday-Friday 9 AM–6 PM and weekend shifts Saturday-Sunday 9 AM-4 PM, according to scheduling by agreement.
