We are now seeking additional expertise to strengthen and complement our capacity in configuration management. In the role of Configuration Manager (CM), you will work with configuration management for various products and customers.

You are expected to take significant personal responsibility, be proactive, and drive your work forward. The role provides you with a deep understanding of the products and the opportunity to build an extensive network within the organization. You will be an active part of both the further development and implementation of established working methods.

The work involves supporting ongoing development projects by planning, leading, and executing activities related to configuration management. A central part of the assignment is also to make visible and strengthen the CM discipline within projects and other operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously update CM plans

• Develop, manage, and improve instructions within the CM area and contribute to the continuous development of configuration management processes

• Ensure that the correct CM environment is in place and conduct necessary user training

• Participate in and serve as secretary in relevant meeting forums, for example during configuration audits, by documenting change and configuration decisions and clarifying applicable configurations

• Work as a supportive function to ensure structured and controlled product development within projects or organizational units. This means being an integrated part of the project and participating in planning, discussions, and decisions that affect configuration management

• Review system and project documentation from a CM perspective

Your Profile

You are responsible, driven, and have a genuine interest in understanding the business. You have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with others. We prefer that you have a background as a university engineer or civil engineer. Experience in system engineering and configuration management is advantageous, as well as previous roles within the CM area.

Requirements

• University or civil engineering degree, or equivalent

• 3–7 years of relevant work experience

• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Strong desire and ability to create structure, order, and clarity

The position is full-time and performed on-site at the client. Selection is ongoing, and there are very good opportunities for extension.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations. For certain roles, security classification may require specific citizenship.
