Our new school is now seeking a teacher for grades F–3 who wants to help create good conditions for students' early learning.

The workplace

Strandskolan is beautifully located by Bottensjön in central Karlsborg. The unique location, combined with the design of the schoolyard, creates good conditions for varied activities in a scenic environment. Approximately 280 students attend the school, ranging from preschool to grade 6. The school has two after-school care departments, Vågen and Vinden. Job responsibilities

Teaching in grade 1. You will plan, conduct, and evaluate your pedagogical work in accordance with the applicable curriculum and governing documents, as well as perform other tasks related to the profession. Together with other staff at the school, you will run a program that helps students become secure, creative, and curious, with a focus on student learning and a desire to contribute to increased goal achievement.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is an educated and certified primary school teacher with qualifications in Swedish, mathematics, English, and social or natural sciences.

You have a good understanding of students' different ways of learning and adapt your teaching to meet each student's needs. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues, other professionals, and guardians, always keeping the student's best interests in focus. For the students, you are a safe and stable adult.

Digital tools are a natural part of your teaching, and you feel comfortable using them in your pedagogical work.
