Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently looking for two dedicated care assistants who want to be part of the home care group Eastern Suburb in Ystad Municipality.

The home care group provides services according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. You will meet the individual needs of care and service for residents in their own homes based on granted assistance decisions according to the Social Services Act. You work independently but have good collaborative skills and actively participate in teamwork.

Your work includes ongoing documentation, and we see that you, as an applicant, have a genuine interest in care work and want to be one of us who work for a meaningful existence for the clients.

As an employee with us, you are the foundation for the quality and development that characterizes care in Ystad Municipality. We have come a long way in digital development, and a large part of the work is done via mobile phone, such as unlocking doors, viewing work schedules, unlocking medication cabinets, signing care assignments, documenting, reading implementation plans, etc.

Heavy lifting and working alone may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications and requirements:

• You are a trained care assistant with a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• You have good cycling skills.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

You should have a professional attitude, be attentive, responsible, and service-oriented. You find it easy to communicate and collaborate and see development and new conditions as a positive challenge.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience in home care.
