Job Description

As a psychologist, you will work with the assessment and treatment of mental health issues in primary care, focusing on anxiety, depression, stress-related issues, and lifestyle changes. You will conduct individual sessions, motivational interviewing (MI), psychological assessments, and therapy such as CBT.

• Independent patient responsibility for the assessment and treatment of mental health issues, telephone advice, and triaging to the appropriate level of care.
• Active participation in improvement work, quality monitoring, and development of routines in a growing organization.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Licensed psychologist according to the requirements of the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Meritorious

• Experience from primary care or similar settings.
• Experience working with mental health issues in children and adolescents.
• Training/experience in CBT, MI, or treatment within primary care psychiatry.
• Familiarity with the TakeCare journal system.
