Prinsgatan Home Care Center is opening a new unit – we are looking for several dedicated nursing assistants who want to be involved from the beginning and create a safe, personal, and developing home care service together.

For us, it is important that you enjoy your job. We work in teams and have close collaboration within the group as well as with home healthcare. We always put the care recipient at the center and believe it is important for them to be involved in shaping their services. In our group, you will have the opportunity to develop in your professional role, take responsibility, and work independently.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you work closely with people and support them in their daily lives through care and support services in their own homes. You motivate and stimulate the care recipient based on individual needs, conditions, and wishes. The work is based on approved assistance measures and may include personal care, support during meals, social activities, certain health and medical tasks, and collaboration with relatives.

The operation is conducted according to the Social Services Act and the national value framework, with the individual's needs at the center and a health-promoting approach that utilizes the individual's resources and abilities.

Your work includes practical help with personal hygiene and care, support during meals, activities, laundry, cleaning, and more. The role also includes being a primary care contact. You will also perform health and medical tasks according to instructions and delegation from a nurse, such as administering insulin and medication. All documentation is done digitally. As a nursing assistant in home care, you will have a varied job where you contribute to a dignified and meaningful life. Those we meet need support both during the day, evening, and weekends. Your working hours are therefore scheduled.

Selection and interviews will take place on an ongoing basis. The expected start date for the new unit is in April. For those who wish, there is an opportunity to start the employment earlier at Prinsgatan Home Care Center, within the streets that will belong to the new unit Haga.

About You

Requirements:

• Trained nursing assistant, you can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected professional title or demonstrate that you were permanently employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced.
• Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Basic computer skills (IT skills).

Meritorious:

• Experience in care and support work preferably within home care.
• Experience in social documentation and reception representative role.
