About us
Närhälsan Angered rehabilitation clinic is located in Angered, which is a lovely part of Gothenburg.
We are a large unit with about 50 employees. We have occupational therapists, physiotherapists, administrative staff, a speech therapist, a unit manager, and team coordinators. Since we are such a large workgroup, we have good opportunities to learn from each other as we possess many in-depth competencies and specializations in various areas. You are thus offered the opportunity to specialize in different areas based on the needs of the operation. For us, it is important to have a pleasant workplace, an open climate, and constant development where everyone helps each other. We are currently planning to expand our premises.
We have well-developed work around many patient groups and now need to expand our teams in mental health, chronic pain, and pediatric patients. Other in-depth competencies in areas commonly found in primary care are also valuable.

About the job
Your tasks are to assess and treat patients of all ages. Common conditions among patients you will encounter as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, neurology, cognitive impact, and mental health issues. The job also includes prescribing aids and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is developed.
The work is carried out at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Some work can be done remotely. Treatment of patients occurs both individually and in groups.
The work involves close collaboration with other professionals, both at your own clinic and with other partners. You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the manager for the development of the operation in a constantly ongoing improvement process.
About you
You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is an advantage, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates.
If you have experience and/or interest in working with children, chronic pain, and/or mental health issues, that is also an advantage.
We are looking for someone who is attentive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. Furthermore, you see collaboration with colleagues and other partners as a natural and important part of the job, which you perform with commitment and professionalism. You can plan your work in an efficient and organized way based on the goals of the operation. As the workload varies and unforeseen events may arise, we see that you are flexible and independent.

Other
Travel in the service occurs. A B driver's license is required.
Interviews at the clinic are planned to be held on February 18 and 20.

About the recruitment process
Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the clinic.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
