About the Job

Are you a nursing assistant ready for new challenges? Do you want to feel that the work you do is meaningful and important? Then you are the one we are looking for at Galeasen respite care/short-term.

Galeasen is located at Ågårdsskogens care center. Here we support users who need short-term care/respite care and day activities. We are now looking for someone who is positive and outgoing, has a strong sense of responsibility, and enjoys working in a team.

Job Responsibilities

The work consists of care tasks tailored to the individual. You assist residents with hygiene, social interaction, stimulation, and activation, as well as provide support in medical and rehabilitative tasks. You work independently but have good collaboration skills and actively participate in teamwork.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their tasks, has the ability to create security, and can meet and understand the user's needs. As a person, you have the ability to take initiative and create trusting relationships based on care and empathy. It is natural for you to work independently but also to collaborate actively in a team. You need to have a sense of order and resilience as there may be busier periods during the day, which requires flexibility in planning your work with colleagues and taking responsibility for your tasks by completing started tasks and following routines.

Requirements:

• To be employed as a nursing assistant, you need to show proof of a protected professional title for nursing assistants from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from a previous employer confirming that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023.
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good reading comprehension.
• Basic digital competence.

Experience in care and support work is meritorious.

Meritorious:

• Care and support college diploma.
• Experience in similar work.
• Experience in documentation.

Conditions

We are looking for a nursing assistant for a permanent position at 100% with the possibility of a desired employment rate. Your employment will be within the Social Welfare Sector of Lidköping Municipality, with placement at Galeasen, which means you may also work in other units.

Start date according to agreement.
